The woman claimed that the doctor who delivered her baby did not properly use a vacuum extractor. The lawsuit claims that the doctor, along with the medical staff that was present for the birth, acted negligently.
The lawsuit claims that the improper use of the vacuum extractor left the infant with permanent disfigurement and brain damage. The hospital was also sited for acting negligently.
